Andrea Cecchi

Andrea is mainly asked to work on acting, due to his peculiar ability to deal with actors and emotions in comic or dramatic situations.

His style is focused on little feature films, well framed.

Director, Writer and Scriptwriter, in 1984 he graduated in Filmmaking at New York University, after spending his High School years between Italy and California.
He started as an Editor, and eventually worked as an Executive Producer for a Production Company and an Advertising Agency for many years to follow.
He worked on national and international productions, that gave him the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most inventive and reputed leading talents in the industry.
In the meantime, he started shooting internal films and several videoclips.
In 1994, he made his debut as a Director, shooting a commercial for Procter&Gamble, which earned him that year's ANIPA prize as Best Up and Coming Director in Italy.

In just two years, from 2007 to 2009, Andrea was shortlisted and won several National and International awards for his work as a Director. (see section award)

As a Writer, he was awarded the 2000 Città di Prato Literature Price with the tale "Blue Wood".

Born and based in Milan (Italy), he is a member of the Art Directors Club Italy (ADCI).
